Overview
- Officers were called shortly after 7am on Tuesday to reports of a body in the water near Caernarfon Castle.
 - The coroner has been informed and enquiries are underway to determine how the man came to be in the dock.
 - Coastguard teams from Bangor and Llandwrog and the RNLI Beaumaris lifeboat attended the scene.
 - Holyhead Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre described the response as a police-first incident.
 - Sections of Victoria Dock and nearby streets, including Church Street, were cordoned off and reopened by early afternoon.
