• Flames burned through the roof of the two-level brick-veneer house, causing major structural collapse that made entry hazardous.
• Acting Chief Superintendent Tom Cooper said heavy concrete roof tiles and burned timber beams left the structure extremely unsafe.
• Police confirmed a man's body was found at the property, with formal identification pending.
