Man Fatally Shot Near Powell Street Station

A man died after being shot near Powell and Market streets in downtown San Francisco Thursday night.
Police responded to reports of the shooting around 8:39 p.m. and the victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after.
The Powell Street BART station entrance was closed for several hours as police investigated the homicide.
No arrests have been made in the killing as of Friday morning.
The shooting occurred a block away from where another man was fatally shot last week.
