Man Fatally Shot in Sydney's Surry Hills, Linked Car Fire Investigated

Police are investigating a shooting on a busy street and a suspected getaway car found burning nearby.

A man in his 30s was fatally shot on Baptist Street in Surry Hills, Sydney, around 7:45 PM on Friday night.
Despite paramedics' efforts, the man died at the scene, and a crime scene has been established.
A Porsche believed to be connected to the incident was found on fire shortly after on Kensington Road in Kensington.
Police are investigating potential links between the shooting and the car fire, but no arrests have been made yet.
Cleveland Street remains closed between South Dowling and Elizabeth streets, with motorists advised to avoid the area.
