The incident occurred on Monday evening when the man missed his boarding after a smoking break at Rottweil station.
He left his luggage inside the train, ran along the platform, and jumped onto the coupling between the locomotive and a train car.
The train driver noticed the man’s actions and initiated an emergency brake to prevent potential danger.
Police registered the man’s details, and he is now facing charges for dangerous interference with railway operations.
Railway services resumed normal operations shortly after the emergency response.
