Overview

• A man in his 40s died in hospital after a shooting in Clissold Park around 7:07pm on 17 September, while a woman in her 40s was injured.
• Police said the deceased man was the suspect and the woman, who suffered a torso wound, has since been discharged with injuries not deemed life‑threatening or life‑changing.
• London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance treated both at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.
• A firearm believed to have been used was recovered at the scene, and a cordon and forensic examination remain in place as enquiries continue.
