Overview

• Officers were called just before 8 p.m. on Sept. 11 to Bay Cove Human Services at 669 Walk Hill St. for reports that a man was acting erratically during a suspected cocaine overdose.
• A brief struggle occurred when officers made contact, and the man was detained, according to a redacted Boston Police report.
• He was transported by paramedics to Boston Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly before 9 p.m.
