• Cleveland Police said a 52-year-old arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life has been released with no further action and is detained in hospital under the Mental Health Act 1983.

• Cleveland Fire Brigade was called just before 9pm on Friday and sent four engines from Middlesbrough and Grangetown, using breathing apparatus, hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
• The brigade reported complete fire damage to the ground floor and extensive smoke damage, with crews leaving late that night.
• Police said nobody was inside the property during the blaze, and the North East Ambulance Service dispatched multiple resources including a HART team before being stood down by firefighters.
