Man Charged with Six-Year Stalking of Shirley Ballas

Kyle Shaw, 37, accused of causing 'serious alarm or distress' to the Strictly Come Dancing judge, is set to appear in Liverpool Crown Court later this month.

Kyle Shaw, a 37-year-old from Birkenhead, has been charged with stalking Shirley Ballas over a six-year period from 2017 to 2023.
The alleged stalking involved persistent online messages that reportedly caused significant distress and disruptions to Ballas's daily life.
Shaw is also facing a separate charge for possession of a small quantity of cannabis.
He appeared at South Sefton Magistrates' Court last week but did not enter any pleas and was granted conditional bail.
Shaw is prohibited from contacting Ballas or entering London and is scheduled for a hearing at Liverpool Crown Court on January 31.
