Man Charged with Quadruple Murder Following Alleged NSW Robbery Attempt

- Alec St Clair, 29, has been charged with four counts of murder and one count of attempted armed robbery in connection with a fatal crash in Wardell, NSW, last year.
- Police allege St Clair attempted to rob the occupants of a Mazda BT-50 ute, causing it to collide with a tree and killing all four people inside.
- The victims were identified as Mark Dodds, 36, Sophie-Lee Fullagar, 24, Benjamin Watego, 50, and James Doherty, 42.
- St Clair was arrested at Coffs Harbour Police Station and appeared in court, where he was denied bail; his next hearing is scheduled for May 14 in Lismore Local Court.
