Man Charged with Quadruple Murder Following Alleged NSW Robbery Attempt

Alec St Clair, 29, has been charged with four counts of murder and one count of attempted armed robbery in connection with a fatal crash in Wardell, NSW, last year.
Police allege St Clair attempted to rob the occupants of a Mazda BT-50 ute, causing it to collide with a tree and killing all four people inside.
The victims were identified as Mark Dodds, 36, Sophie-Lee Fullagar, 24, Benjamin Watego, 50, and James Doherty, 42.
St Clair was arrested at Coffs Harbour Police Station and appeared in court, where he was denied bail; his next hearing is scheduled for May 14 in Lismore Local Court.
