Man Charged with Murder of Suffolk Dog Walker Anita Rose
Roy Barclay, 55, appears in court following the death of Anita Rose, who was attacked while walking her dog in July.
- Anita Rose, 57, was found unconscious with severe head injuries on July 24 near a railway line in Brantham, Suffolk.
- Rose was discovered by a cyclist around 6:25 am, with her jacket missing and her dog unharmed.
- She died four days later at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge after sustaining serious head and facial injuries.
- Roy Barclay, of no fixed address, was arrested on Monday and charged with her murder on Tuesday night.
- Barclay appeared at Ipswich Magistrates' Court and is set for a plea hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on November 20.
