- Chas Corrigan, 21, has been charged with the murder of 20-year-old Mohammed Algasim and possession of a knife in a public place
- A 50-year-old man remains in custody at Thorpe Wood on suspicion of assisting an offender following the same incident
- Mohammed Algasim was on a 10-week English placement at EF International Language Campuses Cambridge when he was fatally stabbed on August 1
- Corrigan appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Monday and is due to face a preliminary hearing at Cambridge Crown Court on Tuesday
- The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit is coordinating the multi-force inquiry
