Overview
- Police found 22-year-old Haruun Hassan with fatal stab injuries at the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road and he was pronounced dead at the scene after officers were called on Tuesday, June 30.
- Two people aged 21 were detained in connection with the case and taken into custody after arrests were carried out on Sunday, July 5.
- Awap Halouf, 21, was arrested in Cardiff and has now been charged with murder and possession of a blade in a public place and remanded to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court.
- Forensic teams established a large cordon along the A4, collected physical evidence and placed markers at the scene while police asked witnesses and passengers to provide CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage.
