Man Charged with Murder After Fatal E-Bike Hit-and-Run in Derbyshire
Keaton Muldoon, 23, faces murder and attempted murder charges following the death of Alana Armstrong and severe injuries to another victim.
- Alana Armstrong, a 25-year-old mother of one, was killed in a hit-and-run incident involving a 4x4 vehicle on November 26 in Pleasley, Derbyshire.
- The e-bike rider, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries, including the amputation of part of his leg, following the collision.
- Keaton Muldoon, 23, from Mansfield, has been charged with murder and attempted murder and is set to appear in court on Friday.
- Police allege a dark-colored Land Rover Discovery followed two e-bikes before ramming one, causing Armstrong and the rider to be thrown off, after which the vehicle fled the scene.
- The vehicle was recovered and forensically examined, and a woman in her 30s was arrested and released on bail as part of the ongoing investigation.
