Man Charged with Harassing Journalist Antoinette Lattouf After Online Threats

The 61-year-old was arrested following a counter-terrorism investigation and will appear in court next month.

New South Wales Police charged a 61-year-old man with using a carriage service to menace, harass, or offend journalist Antoinette Lattouf.
The arrest followed a counter-terrorism investigation and a search warrant executed at the man's home in Lake Cathie, near Port Macquarie.
Lattouf reported receiving racially charged and threatening messages after sharing a social media post about the Israel-Gaza conflict during an ABC radio stint.
The journalist is also pursuing a high-profile unlawful termination lawsuit against the ABC, alleging her removal was influenced by political and racial bias.
The man, who allegedly targeted others online as well, was granted conditional bail and is set to appear in Port Macquarie Local Court on March 5.
