Man Charged in Death of Phoenix Spencer-Horn in East Kilbride

Phoenix Spencer-Horn, 21, was discovered dead in her East Kilbride flat on Monday after failing to show up for work.
Ewan Methven, 26, has been arrested and charged with her murder and appeared in court without entering a plea.
Police were alerted to the scene after Spencer-Horn did not arrive for her shift at the Strathaven Hotel.
Detective Chief Inspector Susie Cairns stated that the victim's family is devastated and police are providing support.
Authorities have confirmed there is no wider risk to the public, and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
