• The driver allegedly threatened officers with a knife and lunged before a third officer deployed a Taser following shots fired.
• The 53-year-old Eumundi man was arrested and charged with dangerous operation, endangering a police officer, going armed to cause fear, possession of a weapon, trespass, and three counts of serious assault of a police officer while armed.
• He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court today.
