  • A 41-year-old Tewantin man, Bradley Donald Towle, has been charged with 15 offences, including dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and armed robbery.
  • The incident began when Towle allegedly lost control of his Porsche Macan on the Bruce Highway, causing a six-vehicle crash that killed 22-year-old Jocelyn Grace Mollee and injured others.
  • After the crash, Towle allegedly exited the vehicle armed with a gun, shot a 62-year-old man who had stopped to assist, and stole his SsangYong Rexton.
  • The suspect later crashed the stolen vehicle in Landsborough, carjacked a Mazda 3 from a 16-year-old learner driver and her parents, and was apprehended by police shortly thereafter.
  • Towle remains under police guard in hospital with head and body injuries, as authorities continue their investigation and appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.
