- Paramedics treated the 63-year-old for neck and facial wounds before an airlift to Royal North Shore Hospital in serious to critical condition.
- Officers arrested a 40-year-old nearby at Long Jetty and took him to Wyong Police Station for processing.
- The man has been charged with reckless wounding designated domestic-violence related and with breaching an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order.
- He was refused bail ahead of an appearance at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday as detectives maintain a crime scene and continue inquiries.
