• The victim has been formally identified as Catherine Blackhurst, 17, following a Home Office post-mortem.
• She was found at a property on Whalley Close around 9 a.m. on Sept. 21 and died at the scene despite CPR by emergency crews.
• A 55-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed pending further enquiries, Greater Manchester Police said.
• The cause of death remains undetermined as officers pursue several lines of enquiry and maintain a cordon at the address.
