Overview

• Police and East of England Ambulance crews were called to Granary Road at around 6:35am on June 25 after reports that a man had been shot inside a premises.
• The victim, a man in his 30s, sustained a chest wound from an air rifle and was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
• A 56-year-old man was detained in Kentford at approximately 8:40am on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
• The suspect also failed a roadside breath test and faces a driving under the influence charge.
