• Beverly Hills police detained 27-year-old Anmol Bhatia around 7:10 p.m. near Wilshire Boulevard and Elm Drive before he was taken into Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department custody.
• Bhatia was booked on suspicion of burglary, vandalism and animal cruelty, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
• Security video from Sept. 4 shows a masked intruder entering the Harper Avenue apartment and attacking a small dog that deputies later found dead.
