Man Arrested for Stabbing Two Near Refugee Hotel

A man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after stabbing two people in Surbiton, Surrey near a hotel housing Afghan refugees.
One victim was stabbed at the Crowne Plaza hotel and the other at a nearby BMW garage.
Both victims were rushed to the hospital after being stabbed around 1:45 pm on Sunday.
Surrey Police believe this was an isolated incident and have launched an investigation, appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The stabbings caused a heavy police presence at the usually peaceful hotel housing refugees.
