Man Arrested for Pepper-Spraying Mother and Infant on Queens Subway

NYPD arrested a 32-year-old man after a pepper spray assault on the M train hospitalized a mother with breathing distress, leading to treatment for her infant.

Overview

  • Edward Vargas, 32, was arrested at around 11 a.m. Thursday in Queens and charged with two counts of assault.
