Man Arrested for Death of 3-Year-Old Niece and Attempted Cover-Up in Thane

The accused, along with his wife and a rickshaw driver, later attempted to burn the body to destroy evidence during a time when many were occupied with local elections.
Police arrested the uncle after his suspicious behavior and confession, stating the death was accidental but the cover-up was deliberate; further investigation is ongoing.
