Man Arrested After Stabbing Incident in East London

A woman and two children were hospitalized following a stabbing in Dagenham; police confirm the suspect was known to the victims.

The Metropolitan Police responded to reports of a stabbing on First Avenue, Dagenham, around 5:35 PM.
A woman in her 30s, an eight-year-old girl, and a two-year-old boy were found with stab injuries and taken to the hospital.
The eight-year-old girl's injuries are not life-threatening, while updates on the other victims' conditions are pending.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and was taken to the hospital before being discharged into police custody.
Police believe the suspect and victims were known to each other, and no other suspects are being sought at this time.
