Man Arrested After Ramming Car Into Gates of Downing Street, PM's Residence

A car collided with the front gates of 10 Downing Street, the prime minister of the UK's official residence, in London.
The driver, a lone man, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and dangerous driving.
No injuries were reported in the incident and officials do not believe it was terrorism-related.
The prime minister was believed to be inside at the time of the crash, but was unharmed.
The gates outside Downing Street are protected around the clock by armed police, and access is heavily restricted.
