• Kylee Monteiro, 18 and pregnant, has been missing since Aug. 7 after she was last seen near County Street in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
• Gregory Groom, 22, was arrested Aug. 19 on charges of aggravated assault and battery on a pregnant person, domestic assault and battery, and witness intimidation.
• Prosecutors say the charges stem from an alleged Aug. 6 assault at 107 County Street, the day before Monteiro disappeared.
• Groom is being held without bail and is scheduled for arraignment in Taunton District Court on Wednesday.
• Police have renewed multi-agency searches using K-9 units, drones, and dive teams, and after a tip they searched property tied to Groom where officers carried evidence bags and examined a red shed; officials continue to seek tips and surveillance footage, and a vigil is planned for Aug. 23.
