- Deputies responded around 2 p.m. on Nov. 6 and located the man about 130 feet down on a scree pile below the overlook.
- Technical rope teams used a lowering and raising system to recover the body, which was transported to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office.
- Hualapai Tribal Police, Hualapai Nation Fire, Grand Canyon West security, and Bureau of Indian Affairs Police assisted in the recovery, authorities said.
