‘Mamma Mia!’ Set to Return to Broadway for Limited Engagement

The beloved ABBA-inspired musical will begin previews at the Winter Garden Theatre on August 2, marking its first Broadway run in a decade.

The musical will officially open on August 14, 2025, and run through February 1, 2026, at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.
The original Broadway production ran from 2001 to 2015, with this return marking 24 years since its debut at the same venue.
Creator Judy Craymer expressed excitement about bringing the show back to its Broadway home after its 25th anniversary in London’s West End.
The production will follow the conclusion of 'Good Night and Good Luck,' starring George Clooney, which ends its run at the Winter Garden Theatre on June 8, 2025.
Casting details for the Broadway revival have yet to be announced, but the show will feature music and lyrics by ABBA’s Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
