Malton Man, 70, Dies in Three‑Vehicle Crash on A168 Near Dishforth

Police open a collision inquiry after the morning incident.

  • The collision involved a red Fiat 500, a white HGV milk tanker and a John Deere tractor.
  • Officers reported the Fiat and tractor were heading south toward Boroughbridge, while the tanker was traveling north toward Thirsk.
  • The Fiat’s driver, a 70-year-old man from Malton, died at the scene; the HGV driver, 45, from Stockton, sustained minor injuries and the 57-year-old tractor driver was uninjured.
