Conte expressed disappointment with the European Broadcasting Union's decision to prohibit the use of the Maltese word 'Kant,' which means 'singing,' but affirmed her commitment to the competition.
The controversy arose shortly before the submission deadline, leaving Conte with only a few days to rewrite and re-record the song.
The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Basel, Switzerland, with the grand final scheduled for May 17.
