• Commonwealth Sport confirmed Malta as host of the eighth Commonwealth Youth Games in late 2027.
• Approximately 1,150 athletes aged 14 to 18 from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories will participate.
• Eight sports will feature at the Games, with sailing and water polo making their debut and Para Swimming joining an expanded Para sport programme.
• Organizers will employ a dual-island model using four venue clusters across Malta and Gozo and two hotel-based athlete villages.
