Malfunctioning Fair Ride Leaves Children Dangling Upside Down for 15 Minutes

Two children, aged 8 and 11, were left hanging upside down for approximately 15 minutes on the X Drive ride at the Arkansas State Fair.
The ride malfunctioned due to a computer fault, causing it to stop mid-air with several riders suspended upside down.
Their mother, Ally Metzger, filmed the incident and expressed panic and frustration as workers struggled to resolve the situation.
Metzger reported her 11-year-old daughter appeared to pass out during the ordeal, experiencing dizziness and leg pain due to circulation issues.
Following the incident, Metzger filed a complaint and received a refund, while the ride operators assured the safety of their attractions.
