- Hulu released the official teaser and confirmed Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair will premiere April 10, 2026 as a four-part limited series on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the U.S., and on Disney+ internationally.
- The logline follows Malcolm, who has kept his distance for over a decade, being compelled to return with his daughter when Hal and Lois insist he attend their 40th anniversary party.
- Returning stars include Frankie Muniz (Malcolm), Bryan Cranston (Hal), Jane Kaczmarek (Lois), Christopher Kennedy Masterson (Francis), Justin Berfield (Reese) and Emy Coligado (Piama).
- Dewey has been recast with Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, as original actor Erik Per Sullivan is not returning.
