Overview
- Founder Eduardo F. Costantini acquired the entire Daros Latinamerica Collection, adding 1,233 works by 117 artists to MALBA.
- The museum’s combined holdings rise to roughly 3,000 works, with 75 artists entering the collection for the first time and stronger representation from Colombia, Cuba, and several Central American and Caribbean countries.
- MALBA will extend its building beneath the adjacent Plaza Perú to about 90,000 square feet, with construction scheduled to begin in fall 2026 after 25th‑anniversary events.
