Six members of the 'Ninja Turtle Gang' were arrested in Kuala Lumpur during a raid on July 2.
Authorities seized approximately 200 tortoises and turtles worth $52,300 in the latest operation.
This follows an earlier raid on June 29, where 400 tortoises valued at over $800,000 were rescued.
Species rescued include the critically endangered Chinese striped-necked turtle and other endangered species.
The reptiles were smuggled to meet demand in the lucrative pet market, often transported in suitcases or by road.
