Overview
- Transport Minister Anthony Loke confirmed the start date, with King Sultan Ibrahim to officiate a launch in Johor Bahru on Dec 11.
- KTM said operations will begin with four daily trips between KL Sentral and JB Sentral, increasing as more ETS3 trainsets enter service; four of 10 sets have been certified.
- Under the full schedule, 12 daily services are planned: eight on the JB–KL route, two to Padang Besar, and two to Butterworth.
- Officials said longer-distance legs will operate one northbound and one southbound service per day at first, while the JB–KL sector will run more frequently.
