Malayalam Actor Baiju Santhosh Arrested for Drunk Driving Incident

Malyalam actor Baiju Santhosh was arrested early Monday for driving under the influence and causing an accident in Thiruvananthapuram.
The incident occurred late Sunday night when Baiju's car hit a two-wheeler and then struck two signal posts.
Police charged Baiju under Section 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 185 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
Baiju's daughter was reportedly in the car during the incident, and the actor refused to provide a blood sample for alcohol testing.
The scooter rider involved in the accident did not sustain injuries and has not filed a formal complaint.
