Overview
- Emergency services were alerted shortly after 7:40am near the Fabian Way stretch of the River Tawe in Swansea.
- Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is working with the RNLI, South Wales Police and the Coastguard to search the area.
- Fire crews from Swansea Central, Carmarthen, Swansea West and Morriston stations were mobilised to the scene.
- The Welsh Ambulance Service deployed an emergency ambulance, a Cymru High Acuity Response Unit, an operations manager and a hazardous area response team.
- Traffic on Fabian Way is reported to be slow, and authorities have not confirmed any rescue or casualty outcome as the operation continues.
