Major Meth Lab Linked to Mexican Cartel Busted in Greater Noida

Authorities arrest five individuals, including a Mexican national and a Tihar Jail warden, in a significant drug operation.

The Narcotics Control Bureau and Delhi Police Special Cell dismantled a methamphetamine lab in the Kasana Industrial Area of Greater Noida.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 95 kg of methamphetamine in both solid and liquid forms, along with various chemicals and imported machinery.
The lab was reportedly linked to the Cartel De Jalisco Nueva Generacion, a notorious Mexican drug cartel known for its global drug trafficking operations.
Among those arrested were a Mexican national sent to oversee drug purity, a Delhi-based businessman, a Tihar Jail warden, and a Mumbai-based chemist.
This bust marks the fifth such laboratory dismantled by the NCB this year, highlighting a trend of smaller, clandestine labs in industrial areas.
