MAINGEAR Unveils New Gaming PCs with MG-RC Technology at CES 2024

The MAINGEAR ZERO Drop and NV9: ZERO Concept, featuring MSI and Phanteks components, are set to launch in 2024 as part of a growing trend towards clutter-free PC designs.

  • MAINGEAR, in collaboration with MSI and Phanteks, has showcased its new MAINGEAR Rear Connection (MG-RC) technology at CES 2024, along with two new desktop gaming PC systems, the MAINGEAR ZERO Drop and the NV9: ZERO concept.
  • The MAINGEAR ZERO Drop, housed in the MSI MAG Pano M1000 PZ white chassis and the MSI B760M Project Zero motherboard, will feature NVIDIA's newly announced GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics card. It is set to be released on January 24, with limited numbers available.
  • The NV9: ZERO concept, using the Phanteks NV9 PC chassis and a higher-end MSI Z790 Project Zero motherboard, will feature a higher-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card and a higher-end Intel Core i9-14900K processor. It is expected to launch in Q1 2024.
  • MAINGEAR patented its rear-connector motherboard design, MG-RC, in 2011 and is now attempting to standardize it. The design improves the system's interior aesthetics, reduces air turbulence, and simplifies assembly.
  • Both the MAINGEAR ZERO Drop and the NV9: ZERO concept PCs are part of a growing trend towards backside connectors and clutter-free designs in the PC industry.
