Main Accused in Baba Siddique Murder Arrested After 27-Day Manhunt

Shiv Kumar Gautam was captured while attempting to flee to Nepal, revealing ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Shiv Kumar Gautam, the main shooter in Baba Siddique's murder, was arrested in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, along with four accomplices.
The murder was allegedly orchestrated by Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who ordered the killing of either Baba Siddique or his son, Zeeshan.
Gautam and his accomplices were planning to cross the border into Nepal when they were apprehended by a joint police operation.
Prior to his arrest, Gautam had evaded capture for nearly a month, traveling through multiple cities and changing his appearance to avoid detection.
The investigation has led to the arrest of 23 individuals, with the police uncovering a broader plot targeting other political figures.
