Mahindra XUV 7XO Reaches Showrooms as Test Drives Begin and Deliveries Start Jan 14

The heavy facelift adds a coast-to-coast triple-screen cockpit, Adrenox with built-in ChatGPT and new DaVinci dampers, with introductory pricing of Rs 13.66–24.92 lakh limited to the first 40,000 customers.

Overview

  • Dealers nationwide have display and test-drive units, drives began on January 8, and customer deliveries for AX7, AX7T and AX7L variants start on January 14 with lower trims following from April.
  • All variants get triple 12.3-inch displays across the dash, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby, a 540-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front and second-row seats, BYOD rear mounts and a rear wireless charger.
  • The SUV retains 203 hp 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 185 hp 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engines with 6-speed manual or automatic gearboxes, and offers optional AWD with the diesel-automatic.
  • Mahindra introduces DaVinci valve-based dampers and hydraulic bump stops to improve ride comfort and refinement compared with the outgoing XUV700.
  • Early drives praise the tech-rich cabin and calmer ride but note limited adult comfort in the third row and some ergonomic quirks from touch-based HVAC and control interfaces.
