Overview
- BE6 Pack Two B79 is priced at ₹23.5 lakh ex-showroom and XEV9e Pack Two B79 at ₹26.5 lakh ex-showroom, undercutting Pack Three by up to ₹4 lakh.
- Both variants use a 79 kWh battery pack to deliver over 500 km of real-world range and offer 282 bhp and 380 Nm for sub-7 second 0–100 km/h sprints.
- Mid-tier models retain dual or triple 12.3-inch screens, a 16-speaker Harman/Kardon system and panoramic roof but drop features such as ventilated seats, 360° cameras and full L2+ ADAS.
- Mahindra aims to tap into 10,000 monthly sales in the ₹20–25 lakh bracket for the BE6 and 5,000 in the ₹25–30 lakh bracket for the XEV9e to accelerate EV adoption.
- These rear-wheel-drive monocoque SUVs leverage state tax exemptions and incentives to challenge conventional ICE rivals in India’s C and D segments.
