Overview
- Mahindra targets 1,000 charging points through 250 stations by the end of 2027, focusing on national highways and high-traffic corridors with co-location at restaurants and cafés.
- All sites will use a standardized 180 kW setup with dual-gun hardware that can serve up to four vehicles at once.
- The first Charge_IN stations are open at Hoskote near Bengaluru and at Murthal on NH44 north of Delhi.
- Mahindra says the 180 kW units can take many EVs from 20% to 80% charge in roughly 20 minutes, aiming to cut highway dwell times.
- A dedicated Charge_IN app will provide real-time availability, session initiation and payments for drivers of any brand.
