Mahindra Launches 2025 Thar Facelift in India, Hardtop-Only, From Rs 9.99 Lakh

The mid-cycle update prioritizes cabin tech and ergonomics, with engines and gearboxes unchanged.

  • Prices span Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with the entry point about Rs 32,000 lower and the top LXT 4WD AT about Rs 38,000 higher than before.
  • The lineup adopts new AXT and LXT trims and is on sale only with a hardtop at launch, with no soft-top option offered.
  • Interior upgrades include a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, reverse camera, rear wiper and washer, rear AC vents, door-mounted window switches, an interior fuel-lid release and a new steering wheel.
  • Exterior changes are subtle, adding a body-coloured grille, a dual-tone front bumper and two new colours, Tango Red and Battleship Grey.
  • Powertrains carry over: 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 2.2-litre diesel with the same transmissions and 4WD availability as the outgoing model.
