Mahindra Launches 2025 Thar Facelift in India From Rs 9.99 Lakh

Mahindra centers the facelift on interior technology to improve daily usability, retaining the existing mechanical setup.

Overview

  • Prices range from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 16.99 lakh ex-showroom, with simplified AXT and LXT trims offered in both RWD and 4WD configurations.
  • Compared with the outgoing model, the entry variant is cheaper by Rs 32,000, while the top 4WD diesel automatic is costlier by Rs 38,000.
  • Cabin upgrades include a 10.25-inch HD infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Adventure Stats Gen II, Type-C ports, tyre direction monitoring/TPMS, a rear camera on the spare hub, and a rear wiper with washer.
  • Ergonomic and convenience fixes add door-mounted power window switches, rear AC vents, a sliding armrest, an A-pillar grab handle, an internally operated fuel lid, and a dead pedal for automatic variants.
  • Engines and off-road specs are unchanged, continuing the 1.5-litre diesel, 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with manual or automatic gearboxes and RWD or 4WD, alongside minor exterior tweaks and two new colours, Tango Red and Battleship Grey.
