Overview

  • The NU_IQ platform is a modular monocoque architecture engineered to support petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric powertrains in front-wheel- and all-wheel-drive layouts.
  • At the Freedom NU event in Mumbai, Mahindra revealed Vision S, Vision T, Vision X and Vision SXT concepts spanning sub-4-metre compacts to Thar-sized models.
  • Vision S features a flat-floor layout, aircraft-inspired toggle switches, dual screens for infotainment and instrument cluster and a D-cut steering wheel.
  • Vision X appears as a sub-4-metre crossover with a 2,665 mm wheelbase for segment-leading rear room while Vision T hints at an electric Thar-sized SUV using LFP batteries and potential off-road AWD hardware.
  • Production-ready versions are expected around 2027, though detailed technical specifications and pricing have yet to be announced.
