• Maharashtra’s Public Health Department reported seven new COVID-19 cases on July 11 with zero deaths and all active patients exhibiting only mild symptoms.
• Four of the new infections were in Mumbai, two in Pune and one in Nagpur municipal corporations.
• Since January, authorities have conducted 35,516 tests, confirming 2,620 infections and documenting 2,532 recoveries.
• The state has recorded 41 COVID-19 fatalities to date, 40 of which involved patients with underlying health conditions.
• Active cases have plummeted from a mid-June peak following a May-June surge driven by emerging Omicron subvariants.
